Yes, I really enjoyed reading this book! Not only because I got to know that David Sedaris shares the same birthday as my Mom but because his essays in the book are all insane and funny---I didn't know beforehand that this would be a funny book but I had an idea that it's a memoir. I also had some inkling that the descriptions added found in the book have been greatly exaggerated to bring out what's humorous in many situations that may have happened also to others. I can also relate with his experiences on doing caregiving
, part-time jobs,
writing
, travel,
drama
, nudity
as well as the loss of a parent (his Mom died of lung cancer
, which is the same disease my late Father suffered from). I just had to read it faster than my usual pace as my copy got sold on my eBay online store account. View all my reviews
